The ‘Sacred Cloth' pride flag was dropped from the roof of Colorado Springs City Hall during a ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022. The historic flag has flown at the White House and Pulse nightclub, and now will hang from city hall for two weeks in remembrance of the Club Q victims. (Video by Skyler Ballard/ The Gazette) Hannah Rigdon spoke through tears as she looked up at the 25-foot Pride flag hanging outside Colorado Springs City Hall on Wednesday. Its significance can't be understated, she said, in a conservative city that for so long failed to recognize Colorado Springs' diversity.
